An interesting film that passed virtually unnoticed. The tale concerns Klenck, a social worker whose job is to get juveniles out of adult jails. She begins working to help 15-year-old McCleery, who accompanied his two older brothers on a holdup that ended with the death of a police
officer. When funds for her program are cut off, Klenck goes to her old college friend, drug dealer Sayles, for the money to hire McCleery a good lawyer. (Sayles wants kids to stay out of jail so that they can buy drugs from him.) When legal recourse fails, and it looks as though McCleery is
