Happy Mother's Day...Love, George: Review

Muddled tale of bastard Howard, his cafe-owner mother (Leachman), and his strange aunt (Neal). Howard wanders through his Nova Scotia village trying to uncover its dark secrets, and a series of gruesome murders are mixed in for good measure. An excellent cast is lost in this mess, probably an indication of the original film being cut to ribbons before release. This was Darin's last movie before his death the same year after open-heart surgery. leave a comment
