Pleasant musical comedy features Hutchinson in her screen debut as a bored heiress who decides to join the proletariat by becoming a window washer. Falling in love with fellow washer Powell comes next, of course. There's nothing special in the script or the performances, but LeRoy's impeccable direction makes it work. Songs include:"Beauty Must Be Loved" (Irving Kahal, Sammy Fain), "There Must Be Happiness Ahead," "Pop Goes Your Heart," "All on Account of a Strawberry Sundae" (Mort Dixon, Allie Wrubel), and "Massaging Window Panes" (Bert Kalmar, Harry Ruby). leave a comment
