A Capra-esque comedy which has Day running a New England lobstery and finding herself up against railroad tycoon Kovacs. When a shipment of expired lobsters arrives, Day decides to take the cigar-chomping big city capitalist to court. With good friend Lemmon, she hires a lawyer, and in
the spirit of small-town America, emerges victorious. Day sings three songs: "It Happened to Jane" (Joe Lubin, I.J. Roth), "Be Prepared" (Fred Karger, Richard Quine), and "Twinkle and Shine" (Dunham).
