It Happened In Hollywood

Dix and Wray are a couple of fading western stars trying to make the transition to sound. Wray is considerably more successful than Dix, whose voice isn't very appealing. Dix is without a job but decides to stay in Hollywood anyway, and soon goes broke, refusing to take roles in gangster movies because of his squeaky-clean image. When he meets Burrud, a crippled child who idolizes the old cowboy, he is rejoined by Wray. She quits the silver screen, feeling that she cannot perform well without Dix at her side.
