Hangover Square: Review

Shortly before dying of a heart attack brought on by a crash diet, 28-year-old Laird Cregar starred in this dark thriller set in gaslit London. He plays a sort of Jekyll and Hyde, a sensitive composer who becomes a homicidal maniac when he hears discordant noises. It was Cregar's first and only starring role, and he's excellent.
