This haunting drama stars Daniel as a young woman on vacation from boarding school who discovers her aunt (Gallo) cloistered in the attic. Gallo explains to Daniel that she has chosen to stay secluded and alone ever since she was jilted at the altar by her lifelong love, the wealthy and handsome Rabal. Daniel decides to reunite Gallo with her lover and sets out to find him.
