Inept Taylor-Burton vehicle is one more variation on the Faust legend, with Burton as a lunatic consigned to Ustinov's asylum. There he promises wealth and power to nose-picking male nurse, Bridges, in return for help in escaping. Along with greasy-spoon waitress Taylor, they set out on a string of antisocial, money-making schemes.
