Olympic gymnastics star Kurt Thomas ventures into acting with this potentially interesting martial arts actioner. Thomas, a clean-cut, all-American hero, is one of a handful of entrants in a death-defying game of endurance in which a powerful villain, Norton, and his black-hooded ninja followers hunt down and try to kill the players. Only one man has come close to finishing the game--Thomas's father, Eric Lawson, who was murdered, apparently, by Norton. Thomas receives the best of training and even gets help from Agbayani, the princess daughter of the puppet king, Kartalian.
