Lorenzon is a Spanish tyrant who attacks and butchers the people of a Caribbean island after they refuse to pay him tribute. Megowan and Longo manage to escape from their island home. They become pirates, commanding a ship called the "Black Witch." They return to avenge the wrongdoings, but Megowan is hurt and Longo is taken prisoner.
