Insipid film features Flores as a family man losing touch with his wife and teenage daughter. In order to protect what little he has left, he turns to a handgun. The film's smarmy attitudes suggest that this is an appropriate means of proving manhood and compensates for the inadequacies
of the man's character. The film is little more than a series of cliches strung together. The vigilantism is confusing and regugnant. And the acting is terrible: Flores is stiff and unnatural, and Cardinale tries her best but just can't overcome the material. Flores and Cardinale coproduced this
along with Squittieri just before Squittieri's next main feature FATHER OF THE GODFATHER...
