Audie Murphy stars in this third version of Hemingway's To Have and Have Not (1944 with Bogart and Bacall, and 1950 as THE BREAKING POINT) as a ship's captain in Key West, Florida. When it becomes increasingly difficult to make the payments on his cabin cruiser, Murphy turns to a gunrunning plot organized by Albert which arms Cuban rebels.
