The all-too-rare western heroine takes charge here as Castle is a gun-toting woman who's looking for her parents' killers. Talman is the US Marshal who lends a hand as she efficiently takes care of a trio of heavies played, oddly enough, by the film's executive producer (Lyon), associate
producer (MacDonald), and writer (Jolley). This is well directed, with some tense moments. Castle plays her role with much believability, and the production team makes surprisingly good outlaws.
