Guinguette: Review

Reformed hooker Jeanmaire opens up a small nightclub in the French countryside. She gets involved with Pascal but sixteen-year-old Gajoni, doing a bad Brigitte Bardot impersonation, tries to steal him away by any means she can. Noted ballet dancer Jeanmaire carries her role well but is hampered by too many subplots which ultimately make this otherwise well-produced film too long. leave a comment
