Ameche is a renowned newspaper correspondent who, for nebulous reasons, needs a wife to fool his publisher. He borrows Colbert from her husband Foran. The expected complications arise, and Colbert and Ameche are forced to share the same bedroom to carry out the deception. Production is adequate, but the trite situations the story is hung on foretell its doom as an audience titillator. leave a comment
