A murder mystery in which the prime suspect is a blind, deaf, and mute man. Moore is the handicapped fellow who, despite his problems, has written a successful novel. He returns from America after a lecture tour, only to be arrested for murder. He confesses his guilt as his wife, Todd,
acts as interpreter for him. Redgrave takes on the case and the drama builds in the courtroom as he establishes Moore's innocence. Moore then refuses to testify, protecting his wife, who, it turns out, was having an affair with the dead man, which was the reason Moore confessed--thinking Todd had
killed her lover. However, she's innocent. The real killer is actually . . .
