Made in Britain with MGM money, this predictable auto racing film revolves around an aging driver who is losing his nerve. The driver, Travers, begins racing under the sponsorship of a tire company owned by Begley and falls in love with the wealthy American's daughter (Walters), who begs him to quit the sport.
