Another look at what happened to Custer and his troopers at the Battle of Little Big Horn. This time the story is told through the eyes of two of Custer's officers, Cotten and McGavin. Custer (Carey) is an outspoken believer in fair treatment for the Indians and goes so far as to accuse powerful Washington politicians of corruption in their dealings with them.
