Stan and Ollie (Laurel and Hardy) are the chauffeur and gardener for Dan Forrester (Dick Nelson), a silver-spoon-in-the-mouth millionaire's son. He's drafted into the service, and Stan and Ollie join the Army to be near him, accompanied by Penelope, the pair's pet crow (an obviously mechanical bird), which hides in Ollie's trousers during inspections.
