Skelton's last film for MGM came up a dud. The comedian plays a young diamond cutter who was abandoned on a park bench as a baby and subsequently taken to an orphanage. While out celebrating the anniversary of his bundle being found on the bench, Skelton drinks too much and ends up in the slammer.
