Offbeat (what would one expect from the director of PUTNEY SWOPE, 1969?) telling of Christ's passion in an Old West setting. Arbus plays the Messiah, a dude from the East, who parachutes into a crazy little sagebrush town on his way to the promised land to become a singer.
