Howard's directorial debut (he would soon go on to direct NIGHT SHIFT and SPLASH) starring himself as he and heiress Morgan borrow her daddy's big Rolls Royce and drive from L.A. to Las Vegas to elope. Daddy Cahill goes after the kids with a small army of drivers, leading to a 90-minute
car chase. The usual Corman cast of regulars includes a cameo appearance by director Paul Bartel (DEATHRACE 2000, 1975, EATING RAOUL, 1982), second unit direction provided by Allan Arkush (ROCK 'N' ROLL HIGH SCHOOL, 1979, GET CRAZY, 1983) and the film was edited by Joe Dante who would go on to
direct THE HOWLING (1981) and GREMLINS (1984).
