Scanning the list of available special days upon which to base an entire slasher movie (as in HALLOWEEN; MY BLOODY VALENTINE; MOTHER'S DAY; PROM NIGHT; NEW YEAR'S EVIL; BLOODY BIRTHDAY, etc.), the best the producers of this film could come up with was GRADUATION DAY. Wholly derivative and
uninspired, this is just another slice-and-dice film, with the members of a high-school track team killed off one by one in a variety of fiendish and gross ways, including a scene in which a clod pole-vaults into a bed of spikes. The main suspects include the track coach (Christopher George) and
the school principal (Michael Pataki). The
only reasons to watch GRADUATION DAY...
