Gorky Park

Uneven but sometimes fascinating murder mystery. Three bodies are found in Moscow's Gorky Park, stripped of their faces and fingertips, making identification nearly impossible. William Hurt, in a highly polished performance, plays the Moscow police inspector assigned to the case. His trail leads to an American fur trader (Lee Marvin) who has all of Moscow at his disposal. A young dissident (Joanna Pacula), who was a friend of one of the victims, also gets caught in the intrigue.
