Grim drama starring Kent as a slum girl who runs away from home and gets mixed up with gangsters. Driving home drunk one night she runs over and kills a policeman. She then joins up with two American GI deserters, and the trio goes off on a spree of robbery and crime, culminating in the murder of a young cabbie, who, incredibly, turns out to be Kent's former beau. Based on a fictional account of a real murder committed in 1945. leave a comment
