Remake of the 1932 musical comedy about the efforts of a group of friends who try to save a traveling variety show from financial ruin. Johnson plays the rich spinster willing to invest the money, Fraser the talented composer/schoolteacher, and Scott the singer who rises to become a big star. Not much improvement on the original. leave a comment
