This congenial piffle is a perfect example of the kind entertainment Hollywood studios once ground for their in-house stars; the central problem is that these capable contemporary actors lack a certain glittering je ne sais quoi. Cocky Manhattan stockbroker Ryan Turner (Charlie Sheen) gets his comeuppance when publishing magnate Donald Simpson (Barry Newman) feeds him incorrect insider information. Simpson, sho's nobody's fool, is repaying Turner for having slept with his wife.
