Kovacs, whose real niche was pioneering TV comedy, has his hands full trying to keep this weak script from collapsing. He's a professional mourner and pallbearer who takes advantage of wealthy widows. When he falls in love with sexy Charisse, a broke baroness, he collects money from three other widows to try to double it for her.
