A spinoff of a popular CBS radio and television series, "The Goldbergs," with the same cast. Here an old flame of Berg shows up for a visit, bringing along his young fiancee. She's quite a bit younger than he and promptly falls for a young music teacher closer to her age. Scorned, the
older man promptly backs out of a business deal with Loeb. Berg settles all by arranging a meeting between a neighbor widow and her old flame, and the film ends with everyone at peace. Berg had tight control over the film, cowriting the screenplay. Berg was Molly Goldberg and she wasn't about to
let her famous character be destroyed in a bad film.
