The vaudeville and Broadway comedy team of Olsen and Johnson are a pair of bathing-suit salesmen who have more in common than their occupation: they are both ex-husbands of Lightner. She's set on getting as much alimony as she can from the two, so they team up and try to escape her
clutches. It's a thin plot line that wastes three fine comic talents. Lightner starts out fine, but the situations and poor dialog defeat her every attempt at comedy. The direction is as uninspired as the script, and a boat-chase scene is stolen from the movie TOP SPEED, filmed the year before.
This was the first and only time Olsen wore a mustache for the movies.
