We're Going To Be Rich: Review

Set in South Africa in the 1880s, WE'RE GOING TO BE RICH details the attempts made by drunken, brawling McLaglen and wife Fields to strike it big in an empty gold mine. To tide them over, Fields takes a singing job in a local saloon run by Donlevy and the pair fall in love, but she returns to her shiftless but lovable husband and they make another attempt to find a prosperous vein. Music is almost completely made up of old ballads that were popular in the 1890s. leave a comment
