She Gods Of Shark Reef

Not much of a story here, but lots of picturesque footage and beautiful native women, as Durant and Cord, the former an escaped convict, find themselves shipwrecked on an island with nothing but women who spend their time diving for pearls and going through strange rituals. Cord falls deeply in love with Montell, taking her back to civilization after saving her from being sacrificed in a ritual feeding to the sharks. Durant, on the other hand, tries to stretch his luck by making off with some pearls, and gets his just rewards when he's devoured by sharks. The title song "Nearer My Love to You" (Jack Lawrence, Frances Hall) received a moderate amount of air-play.
