Simplistic story about retired surgeon Brennan who decides to give $50,000 to religious causes. His family files suit, saying he's incompetent and can't handle his money. Niece Ross defends her uncle, who claims that without the Lord he never would have been able to become such a great
surgeon. Of course the jury believes him and he is allowed to donate money as he sees fit. The script is hackneyed and one-sided; the direction tired and tedious. Producer Hersh was known for his strong religious feelings--which may help to explain the preachiness of the film.
