Glory Alley: Review
On the eve of his attempt to win the championship, promising middleweight Socks Barbarrosa (Ralph Meeker) panics and disappears, disappointing his neighbors on the New Orleans Latin Quarter side street known as Glory Alley. Particularly upset is the blind father (Kurt Kasznar) of his dancer girl friend, Angela (Leslie Caron). Socks then fights in the Korean War, earning the Congressional Medal of Honor, but though Angela has never doubted his courage, the others in the Alley...
