Trite story about a dancer (well played by Cummings despite the material) who jilts her husband, Lukas, for her dance partner, Reed. Husband No. 2 fools around on her and she ends up, a little worse for wear and tear, with husband No. 1. The film was adapted from a short story by Edna
Ferber that took place in one day. The script padded out the story, but it proved to be too much (15 minutes were cut between the Hollywood and New York premieres) and the film quickly becomes a dud. Songs include "Heaven on Earth."
