Glamour

GLAMOUR was a tour de force for Hicks, who co-directed, scripted, and starred in the film, but without the payoff he must have been hoping for. Hicks plays a charming old gent, a famous actor who has no problem finding women. But then trouble brews in the form of Grahame, his latest romance, who, it turns out, is engaged to marry Nichols, Hicks' son. When Grahame's father finds out, he confronts Hicks, who devises a wild scheme that frees her from his affections, leaving her to believe his son is no relation in the process.
