Glamour Boy

Hollywood looks backward in this film with a neat gimmick: 18-year-old Cooper plays an ex-child star, now working as a soda jerk. When he overhears producer Abel wondering how to use new child star Hickman, Cooper suggests a remake of the real Cooper's famous film, SKIPPY (1931). The producer agrees and hires Cooper as Hickman's coach. On the lot he meets Foster and they fall in love, but problems arise and Cooper leaves town. En route he finds Hickman in the back seat of his car, and in classic child-actor style the boy talks Cooper into getting back together with Foster.
