Give A Girl A Break

This harmless little musical has three would-be stage stars, Marge Champion, Reynolds, and Wood, compete for a part in a big Broadway musical, directed by Gower Champion, when the star, Martell, walks out. To complicate matters, all three girls have the support of a different production staff member. Lots of singing and dancing results, and in the end Reynolds wins out. Director Donen demonstrates his usual flair, with strong support from Fosse and Gower Champion.
