Corruption and the attitudes fostered by television come under close scrutiny in this British thriller. A farm family in Wales takes on the town government, which is given kickbacks by a huge corporation to stay on the land. Glenda Jackson and Jon Finch, a filmmaker and a reporter, go
after the story and encounter obstacles thrown out by their own corporate executives bent on hiding the story. The drama comes as they go on to investigate the Irish Republican Army, another hot topic no one wants them to touch. Jackson and Finch are superb.
