Harding plays a sorority chaperone at a small California college. Her charges are nine of the wittiest wisecrackers Hollywood could put into one film. Everyone has a smart line for any situation that crops up--including murder. Louise plays the nastiest of the bunch, with her cruel insults and attempts at boy friend-stealing. She also threatens to blackmail Foch, a nervous and intelligent girl, claiming she will expose a huge loan to Foch's proud-but-poor parents, to get the unhappy student to write her a paper.
