Girls' School: Review

A winning light comedy about some rich girls in a boarding school for proper young ladies. The delightful plot finds one of the prim young women planning to elope with a youthful dolt, but her scheme sinks under a load of irony when the school's most popular teacher runs off with the boy instead and gets married. Lots of ancillary fun keeps the thin story moving. The film earned an Oscar nomination for Best Score. leave a comment
