HIS GIRL FRIDAY
starstarstarstarstar
Howard Hawks' brilliant remake of Hecht and MacArthur's Front Page ups the ante by casting savvy Rosalind Russell as Hilde the reporter, a part originally written for a man. It all moves at lightning speed: One archivist timed the actors' delivery at 240 words a minute. Read the complete review for His Girl Friday

Is this a remake of the Cary Grant/Jean Arthur movie The Talk of the Town, or is it a different story with the same title?Answer: I'm thinking totally different story with the same title. All I've heard about the plot of the new Talk of the Town, which My Big Fat Greek Wedding (2002) writer and star Nia Vardalos is writing from an idea by Tom Hanks, is that it involves a man (presumably Hanks) who's suddenly forced to make an unexpected career change. Law & Order's Vance Is Guilty... of Love

Most actors would kill for a regular role on a series — particularly any piece of the criminally successful Law & Order franchise. But initially, Courtney B. Eventually Vance signed on, and this past January, L&O: CI reached a major milestone: 100 episodes. The residuals alone co read more
