A Cinderella story of sorts, GIRL IN DISTRESS tells of a delightful Scottish girl, Mullen, who inherits a few hundred pounds and decides to spend it all on a terrific vacation in Vienna. She meets washing machine salesman Redgrave and then Austrian gigolo Lieven, who poses as a count. Lieven mistakes Mullen for a rich girl, but when he finds out the truth, he instantly drops her, leaving Redgrave to pick her up on the rebound. leave a comment
