Peary postpones his impending nuptials with Doran to attend a pharmacist's convention in the big city, and we all know what happens then, don't we? Wealthy widow Burke covets his manly frame, and tart Carleton believes him to be well-fixed. The romantic ribaldry is not aided by a cupid figure, a maniacal archer, who attempts to pierce his sought-after substance for real. A misunderstanding results in his pursuit by police; he escapes by doing a Harold Lloyd-style window-ledge walk.
