Physical proof that lots of talented folks and musical numbers do not an entertaining film make. Lowe gets fired from his radio-announcer job after an erroneous interview and turns to the bottle. His girl Stuart sets him straight and gets him a scoop. His enthusiasm returns and he sets out to find a downed airplane that's been missing. His search proves effective and, as a publicity stunt, he broadcasts his report as he is parachuting to the plane. Karloff and Lugosi seem to be tossed in just to fulfill a contract.
