Another attempt at interlocking British colonialism with horror, this unimaginative film is set in the 1920s and features Cushing as a defrocked clergyman who once spent time in India. Back in England, Cushing harbors a deep, dark family secret: his son, Henderson, suffers from uncontrollable cannibalism.
