Steele is driven mad when the ghost of the husband she murdered appears and tells her where he has hidden his precious jewels. It turns out that her husband is still alive and plotting with the housekeeper to drive her crazy, a method employed with much more grace in Clouzot's DIABOLIQUE.
Steele is the only reason to watch this. A sequel to the tolerable HORRIBLE DR. HICHCOCK.
