Karloff is wasted in this big-budget beach picture as a recently deceased corpse who, with the help of gal ghost Hart, tries to get into heaven. The catch is that he must perform one good deed within 24 hours. Rathbone, a sinister lawyer and executor of an estate, plans to kill the benefactors.
