Getting Over

Essentially a vehicle for a rock group called the Love Machine, this film was presented in tandem with performances by that group for the short time it was in release. It's a silly, exaggerated ride through show business, with every stereotype in recent memory featured in the screenplay. Stone (John F. Goff), a standard unscrupulous record producer, hires promoter Mike Barnett (John R. Daniels) to help him comply with affirmative action employment standards.
