Horton plays a butler faithful to the same master for more than 15 yers. He takes a well-deserved vacation and is mistaken as a colonel from India, a situation he allows to ride until it lands him in hot water. Everything works out in the end, with Horton meeting a widowed housekeeper he brings back to his place of employment.
